David's quilt that he made as a sewing project with his grandma Margie. Since
she is an excellent seamstress and quilter she gets to homeschool that part!
Katie's quilt that she made for a sewing project with her grandma. She gave it
to the local women's shelter when it was completed.
As the caption says we were demonstrating at Vesterheim's Farm. Notice the
lovely blend of old and new? (Katie with the headphones!) I just love this
picture! This picture was taken 5 years ago when we still lived near
Calmar-now we are by Decorah! We've also tried our hands at many other crafts.
We have done felting, weaving, candle making and soapmaking. Hopefully soon
we will add more pictures!
